Mango and whey drink

This recipe was prepared by Melanie Reisner-Kollmann from unbeschwert.at.

Here’s what she said about it:

After making a lot of cheese lately, I also have a lot of whey to experiment with.
The result is a very tasty and fruity whey drink.

Mango is fat free, sodium free and cholesterol free. It contains plenty of vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin B6. It’s rich in fiber and folate too.

Ingredients for this mango-whey drink:

  • 0,5l WHEY Drink
  • 30g dried Mango

I simply put a handful of dried mango pieces into the whey overnight and put it in the fridge.
The next day I removed the mango pieces and your healthy drink is ready.
You can eat the mango pieces or put it them in a shake or muesli.

Enjoy making the recipe, we look forward for your comments!

How to make whey?

Whey is a side product that you get when making cheese. It’s the liquid that drains out and it’s very rich in protein.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
